ELEVENSIX PUSH TEST: many bikes perform much better with a custom shock than a conventional design. Unless your last name is Rude, Moir or Vouilloz, however, extensive suspension tuning and are very exclusive operations. But if you are willing to spend €1000, the PUSH ELEVENSIX coil shock absorber is the one that comes closest to the total configuration personalized. The shock is hand-built in Colorado and tuned to best suit the rear end of the bike, the rider's weight and riding style. Unfortunately, the shock is not suitable for all bikes and only compatible with a handful of top level bikes. In the test the shock absorber used is for one Specialized Enduro, with riders weighing 95 kg and a very aggressive riding style.

Just watch it
ELEVENSIX is handcrafted in Colorado with very few machined parts – a true work of art.

Of course, the back of the Specialized Enduro offers exceptional performance even with the standard FOX Float X2 shock and has even helped the bike earn the Best in Test badge in various enduro forums. But how does the ELEVEN SIX shock absorber behave on the Specialized Enduro, which is designed for air shocks? This is exactly where the technicality of the bike, the shock absorber and many other witchcraft come into play high-tech rie. For example, the typical bottom-out foam bumper (which is also adapted to different factors on the ELEVENSIX) is additionally supported by a hydraulic bottom-out control system and thus provides significantly more damping in the last 15% of the stroke. But PUSH has a completely different approach with damping. While the lever might look like a regular climb switch, it does more than just stiffen the rear end, allowing you to switch between two compressed settings independent. On both circuits, the compressed stage High and low speed can be adjusted individually. The rimLow speed leap has more customizations regardless of compressed settings. All in all, with a total of 118 adjustments, you might be a little taken aback specialmind at first.

From very, very good to WOAHHH!
Already with the standard FOX Float X2 shock, the rear of the test bike Specialized Enduro offers superb performance. Only after installing the ELEVENSIX shock did we realize how much potential it had rimunused shaft.

Perfect compatibility, only for some models
ELEVENSIX is only available for selected bikes and adapted to the rear of each bike. PUSH not only adjusts the damping of the shock, but also adapts the shape and position of the piggyback to adapt it to the bike frame.

More than an up switch
ELEVENSIX allows two compressed configurations completely independent which can be selected via the lever.

In practice, it is not too extreme, because the PUSH offers the best shocks already with a configuration basic, which, in our case, was pretty good. All damping settings, spring rate and preload are already set to the rider's specifications, and a small instruction sheet helps you understand and adjust the basic settings. After having sperimentered the settings for many outputs, the tester chose to configure of the settings for trail, because you get to the trailhead mostly by shuttle or chairlift. Instead, he customized a configuration for maximum grip and efficiency and the other to provide plenty of support and maximum reserves for cannon descents, messy landings and embankments. In other words, one mode is optimized for enduro racing and natural terrain, the other for super diver rides.timento on a bike. The best part is that the tester can easily switch between modes by simply activating a lever. Regardless of the setting, the ELEVENSIX is a great match for the back of the Specialized Enduro and improves its already superb performance. Despite the linear steel spring, the shock never blows throughout its travel and offers good answers. In the enduro environment, the rear wheel literally bites into the ground and provides traction sufficient for the lines of the most daring riders. Even with significantly more damping, the PUSH ELEVENSIX is still capable of dealing with the roughest bumps, big jumps at your bike park.

The PUSH ELEVENSIX is the most expensive shock we have ever used on a MTB and perhaps excessive for most riders. However, if you ride the same bike on different types of terrain or are simply tired of the limited possibilities of standard shocks, the PUSH ELEVENSIX is a unique coil shock that offers a significant increase in performance.
