Collection: Running and Trail Running Glasses

RUNNING AND TRAIL RUNNING GLASSES

Running and trail running are two similar disciplines from an athletic point of view, but vastly different in terms of dynamics. They both present a challenge against oneself rather than direct competition with opponents. In both, the desire to surpass personal limits prevails, conquering the path or the road regardless of atmospheric conditions. A true running enthusiast won't let rain, wind, scorching heat, or biting cold deter them. DEMON demonstrates great passion for the world of running, crafting a line of technical running glasses and trail running gear to allow runners to focus solely on the exhilaration of doing what they love best.

The optical requirements for both running and trail running are quite similar. Running glasses should be as lightweight as possible while providing sufficient grip to prevent annoying micro-slides, especially during intense sweating. They should offer ample visual coverage and protection from airborne elements. Good ventilation is also crucial. Similarly, trail running glasses have identical needs but often require laterally curved lenses to provide enhanced protection from foliage and branches.

In the line of Running glasses e Trail Running DEMON, find models with:

    • Photochromic lenses: Used for both running and trail running, these special lenses undergo a reversible chemical reaction that causes them to darken and lighten based on the intensity of UV light. This feature ensures optimal vision in various climatic conditions. Photochromic glasses for running are essential for runners who seek peak performance from their technical eyewear.

    • Photochromic lenses DCHROM®: Recommended for both running and trail running, the new DCHROM® lenses represent an evolution of photochromic technology. Starting from a slightly darker base (category 1 smoke) compared to other photochromic lenses, they progress to full category 3 during maximum activation. Apart from their rapid transition from light to dark, these lenses impress with the significant sense of relaxation they offer to your eyes, even on days with intense solar radiation. In fact, they can achieve greater darkness than standard photochromic lenses, adapting dynamically to the path and UV intensity. The DCHROM® lens continuously adjusts to provide optimal vision in any atmospheric condition.

    • Mirrored Photochromic Lenses: Recommended for both road running and trail running, these glasses represent the evolution in running eyewear. They start with a very slight haze, ideal for low-light conditions, and reach category 3 at maximum activation.
What sets these lenses apart is their aesthetic appeal; when darkened, they reflect colors like red or blue depending on the chosen tint. These mirrored photochromic lenses are highly reactive, making them perfect for trail running where light conditions frequently change.
Cyclists can rely on these glasses to protect their eyes even in intense sunlight and during extended use. They offer greater darkness than standard photochromic lenses when necessary. The DCHROM® lens continuously adapts to the route and light intensity for optimal vision in any condition.
However, we do not recommend these particular photochromic lenses for night excursions, as their light haze may be too dark for artificial lighting

    • Interchangeable lenses: Most commonly used in running, as there are fewer light changes along the way compared to trail running. The mirrored lens, categorized as 3, not only provides protection from the sun and UV rays but also adds a bold look to your running glasses. This allows you to experiment with popular and eccentric colors, ensuring you're always fashionable.

  • Revo Anti-fog lenses: Used both for the practice of running, but also very well suited for trail running in the mountains. Externally, the super mirroring dominates and leaves nothing to be seen. The internal surface is equipped with an anti-fog treatment to ensure you always have a clear view, even during the phases of greatest effort when body temperature increases drastically. The new generation lens allows an HD view. You will appreciate the perfect contrast of natural colors, and the clear view even in shaded areas will surprise you, making it even more enjoyable to practice your favorite sport: running.

In the endowment of running glasses with interchangeable lenses, there are: a pair of orange lenses, recommended for low light or rainy days, and a pair of transparent lenses for use at night or for simple protection from the air.

The frames, DEMON in TR90, are specially composed of Nylon and Carbon Fibre, offering 20% more lightness than conventional materials, greater resistance to impacts, and greater durability over time.

For the INFINITE OPTIC model, a total rim is expected for the application of the elastic band, useful for those who practice Trail Running and require glasses that remain securely on the face. The Evolution model also comes with a special regulatory system for the temples to best adapt to the face.

For many models of the Running and Trail Running lines, there is an adjustable hypoallergenic rubber nose pad to best adapt the technical glasses to every facial physiognomy, guaranteeing an excellent fit.

Our glasses for Trail Running and Running are meticulously designed down to the smallest detail. Each model has its own technical characteristics necessary to satisfy the needs that the discipline requires, from the curvature of the lenses to the width of the temples and their adjustment.
