The US brand from Wisconsin caused a sensation last year with the XC-Bike Supercaliber, in which a shock absorber developed together with Fox is spectacularly integrated into the top tube. The Americans are now electrifying this technical marvel and turning it into an E-MTB with German technology!

Inside the new E-Caliber, Fazua's Evation motor works, which is more of a gentle supporting tailwind and not a brutal push a la Bosch & Co. This is also underlined by the key data of the Munich unit: 55 Nm of torque, 250 Wh of battery power, only 2,8 kg of system weight. The highlight of Fazua: the battery and motor can be completely rimossi so that the E-Trek becomes a motorless XC bike in no time. In addition to the engine, the E-Caliber also receives other updates: instead of 100, there is now 120 mm of travel at the front, while the rear rimane to 60 mm. The steering angle flattens to 67,5°, the reach increases by 15 mm in all frame sizes. The unusual E-MTB with cross-country roots should be even more trail-friendly without sacrificing agility and maneuverability.
The e-MTB goes cross-country
Five models are available from 6499 euros each in four color variants. While the entry-level model features solid parts at Shimano-XT level, the top model 9.9 XX1 AXS impresses with high-end parts and weighs just 15,8 kilos.
