SHIPMENTS AND RETURNS

SHIPPING

All shipments to Italy are made via Express courier: GLS o SDA abroad with DHL or GLS.
Shipping times depend on the geographical location of destinationone of the goods.
Generally all shipments are delivered within 24/48 hours from the time of shipment (excluding public holidays).

Every order received by 14.30pm is shipped the same day it is received of the order. (Excluding orders with payment method: Bank Transfer, where you ship itone will take place after the payment has been credited)

For each shipmentone tracking code will be provided via email to be able to track the position of the package.

LAYER is the new concept in sports optical frames. This special frame stands out from common frames due to three unique characteristics:

 

Lightness and Stability:

The LAYER model is characterized by an ultra-light frame lined on the inside with anti-slip hypoallergenic rubber (typical of sports glasses). This design ensures grip, stability, and comfort.

 

 

Base 6:

The use of lenses with low curvature simplifies the process of lens graduation and assembly. It is possible to mount lenses for correcting any visual defect, including monofocal, bifocal, or progressive lenses.

 

Design:

The frame's design makes it suitable for daily use and excellent for sports. It is perfect as a primary optical frame.

 

 

Specifications:

The LAYER sports optical frame is made from TR90, a special composition of carbon fiber and nylon. This material makes it 20% lighter than conventional materials, more resistant to mechanical stress and accidental impacts, and increases its durability.

The interior is made of hypoallergenic rubberized material, providing maximum stability during any sporting activity and perfect comfort. The nose pad, also made of soft hypoallergenic rubber, prevents annoying micro-slides towards the tip of the nose, which can disturb performance.

 

The base 6 lens allows the creation of any type of prescription lens: Single Vision, Bifocal, and Progressive. It is also possible to create various types of lenses such as Photochromic, Mirrored Photochromic, Polarized, and Mirrored.

 

 

Equipment:

  • Adjustable Elastic Cord: Enhances the grip and stability of the glasses during sports requiring sharp and sudden head movements (e.g., Tennis). The cord is removable based on use.

 

Recommendations for Choosing Prescription Lenses by Sport:

  • MTB: Use photochromic filters with a transparent starting color for dynamic light adjustments.
  • Road Cycling: Prefer a category 3 smoke lens due to minimal light changes during the route.
  • Running and Trail Running: Opt for a photochromic lens with a transparent starting point for use at night as air protection.
  • Tennis: Use a photochromic lens for night or indoor play, which reacts to sunlight and UV intensity when used outdoors.
  • Beach Volleyball: Due to strong UV intensity, a category 3 mirrored lens is recommended.
  • Other Sports: Consider the exposure time to sunlight and light changes. For minimal changes, choose a category 3 smoke lens; for frequent changes, select a photochromic lens.

 

Always choose an anti-breakage lens for maximum eye protection during accidental impacts. Additional specific treatments for ophthalmic lenses are optional.
